Members cannot delete posts that have been made in our online forums. Moderators and administrators have the discretion to remove posts. This is normally only exercised in cases where there are privacy or safety concerns. Please direct your request directly to our forum moderators or administrators using the facility to flag posts.
We are not responsible for the content of external websites, and links to external sites should not be taken as an endorsement of their content.
While we endeavour to ensure the information contained on our website Imperfect.love and within our forum is accurate, we do not provide any guarantee that it is. It is your responsibility to check any information that is given is correct.
From time to time, research may be conducted within our online forums. By registering as a member, you acknowledge that you are aware that research may be being undertaken within the forums. You also consent to be contacted by email by the researcher(s) involved. While you may be contacted, there is no expectation that you will take part in any research. Declining to be involved in any research will not affect your membership of the Mental Health Forum in any way.

We believe your right to confidentiality is very important. This means that only in very unusual circumstances would it be necessary for us to contact police or other agencies about any message we have received.
Under UK law, ImPerfect.love cannot legally provide confidentiality under the following circumstances:
1. A message sent to or through the ImPerfect.love forum which contains specific information about a terrorist suspect or terrorist activity that will take place or has taken place in the world. This information must immediately be disclosed to the police;
2. ImPerfect.love, as owners of the forum, is forced through legal action to disclose specific confidential information; this can include legal action taken through the Data Protection Act and during criminal investigations.
Under the Data Protection Act we can choose to break confidentiality if we feel that doing so would be in the public interest or that not doing so would hinder a criminal investigation. Under very rare, extreme circumstances, we may choose to break confidentiality.
